oh my goodness!! when that happened to mine the hubs had to take it apart and dry it out with the air hose......gggrrrrr. We ended up having to get a new phone. Hope the rice works for you.....I hadn't hear of this until recently!

Good luck with the rice!!! Hopefully it works...I once drowned a cell phone. I think I must have stuck it in my empty coffee cup, for some unknown reason. The coffee cup and cell phone then somehow ended up in a large pot, that I was soaking to try and remove the results of a cooking disaster. In the meantime, I was calling my cell phone and getting voice mail. I left all these progressively ruder messages to whoever had stolen my phone. I found it about two days ater, when I dumped the water out. Menopause brain, I think ... :-)

my daughter jumped into the pool with her phone in her pocket. She had it for only two days and it was a replacement for the one she broke the screan on. Wish I would have known about the rice trick. I hope it works for you.
