Update

I didn't leave you guys..I have just had a little bit going on yesterday and today. Here is Bee getting into the dog water and food. He didn't eat any but tasted it and threw it for Hooch.
There's another picture of the Trouble Maker, under the coffee table but can't get out! Hehe
Here's a picture of the first apron. My camera kinda makes the pocket look weird but it's cute.

So I went to the ONLY church bookstore in Anchorage yesterday. Oh it's my favorite place to be, besides JoAnn's Fabrics. So I bought this journal/memory stories book. It's questions you are suppose to ask your Mom. But since I plan on printing this blog out one day, I thought I would answer these for Bee and future kids. There's 195 so it should take me to the New Year! Yeah for that!!

1. What is your full name? Krista Waggoner
2.Why were you given your name? Were you named after someone else? (I already answered this question in a previous post...check it out there.)
3. Did you have a nickname as you were growing up? What was it, and how did you get it? Have you had any other nicknames during your life?
a. My mom called me Lit'l Girl. In middle school I was called Krista the Cow and Kritta.
b. I got Lit'l Girl cuz I'm a little girl, like duh!?! Krista the Cow because, well it's a long one...ready for this?...in seventh grade we were given an assignment to write a children's story. We could look at previous years' projects. Well a few years before there was a girl names Krista, who no one liked (she wasn't in the class) but in the same grade. So a group of them made this children's book around Krista, who was a cow. My best friend at the time, Micah, thought this was the funniest thing in the whole world. So it was my new name. The funny thing was I probably weighed 90lbs soaking wet. I was a toothpick so other people (outside of the class) didn't understand why someone would call me the Cow. And Kritta was my softball name, Kritta's Kreatures was my YMCA camp name, when I worked there.
c. That's about it on the nicknames. Chris calls me Babygirl but that's it.

Yeah 3 done!! How is everyone in blogging world?

Update: I am now called Sista Krista to those in the blogging world that know Jill Jill and Amelia! Just so you know! :)

Today

OK so there are the pictures... (My computer is being dumb so that's what you get!)
1. I came home to this on my kitchen roof, from church. I called the landlady, left a message and went about my day. (I took a picture to show her when we called in case it exploded or something.)
2.Same thing just a closer shot.
3.I played Molly Homemaker today and made cupcakes.
4. Here's a another picture...I added pudding mix cuz I heard it was good...we'll see
5. This is a picture of the NOW hole in my ceiling...note how close it is to my Kitchen-aid..I was just using. Maybe I should have cleaned the bowl before dumping the mix into it..haha. Just kidding I did clean it. (You thought we were gonna have another poop/gross story huh!?!)
6.While some 70 year old man tore up my kitchen, I made a purse.
7. It even has a nifty cell phone pocket. (Why don't we use the word nifty anymore?)
8.This is the fabric that the aprons are getting made from.

So there's my day in a nutshell. Bee is teething and has been really, really whiny all day. Which just makes me whiny too! Oh and Hooch (Bad Dog) ran away again today. Number two in 24hours....that dog is gonna....oh I can't say anything about him without getting in trouble with somebody so I'll just say he's a BAD DOG!!

The winner is...

OK in order to see who won, you have to read my stupid story of the day! (Lucky you!)
So Chris and I were watching TV and we noticed this smell.
1.Me thinking it was my husband, stuck my tongue out at him and wrinkled my nose.
2.Chris thinking it was the dog(s), covered his nose with his shirt and went about playing his computer.
3. Hooch and Jack (the dogs) thinking it was Chris, got up and moved away.

So after about 5 minutes, the normal amount of time for any kind of fart to move away, it's still there!! So I go on a search to find the stink. I didn't have to go far...it was Bee!! My sweet little baby smelt like my old husband!! After I put my gag reflex back where it belongs, I went to change the diaper.
It was too messy so I cleaned him up the best I could with wipes on the bathroom floor and dunked his little bum in the bath. We were playing and splashing, having a great time. It was time to end the bath and I turn to get a towel off the counter. My foot lands smack dab in the middle of the grossest diaper I've EVER had to change!! (I know you are all puking at this post but you have to read it if you want to see who wins!)
So I say "Are you serious?!" And just burst out laughing! What else could I do? It was totally my fault for not putting it in the garbage. It was stinking up the whole bathroom, I knew it was there!! So what do I do? (The kid's in the tub with clean water, I can't do the splits to wash it off in the sink so...) Yup you guessed it, my foot goes in the toilet (which I just cleaned yesterday and NO one uses that bathroom except Bee for his bath so it's not that bad). And a couple flushes later, I'm able to hop into the bedroom and grab some wipes. Wipe it down good, no more like great! And squirt out about a pound of antibacterial stuff on my foot, and call it good to go.
I can still feel the yuckiness on my foot so I have washed it about 10 times since then. (I'm sure I'll have no skin left by tomorrow morning!) It's long gone, I'm sure. But I can just feel it, ya know?! (Okay maybe you don't, but still.....)
So now that the grossest story EVER written on my blog is done with, I will go onto the winner of the apron....it's all that commented!! (Wish you would have got over here sooner, huh?!!)
No but seriously, JoAnn's is having a sale, I have a little extra cash and my hubby is leaving for two weeks for TDY.....I'm making Rachel H, Kate, Mary, Rachael, A.men (I don't know her name yet), Amelia Bedelia and Mal aprons!!!!!! YAY you! (Thanks for reading my blog!)
SOoOoO..you seven ladies, send me your addresses and favorite color (I'll try to work with it) and I'll get to making us some new aprons!
(Mary-I'll just give you yours when it's done.)

bee walking

As we all know, Mr. Bee isn't walking or crawling yet. Because of that, he had his first appointment with a physical therapist today.

It was very informational to me. She had some many suggestions...thank goodness she wrote them down!

She said that Bee was very flexible. (Like he can do the splits flexible.) Because of this, he has to work harder to stand or even control his muscles to crawl. (I totally didn't know that.) So you know you hear about kids that crawl at like 18 months...these kids are generally very flexible. She said at this age, it's actually bad to be flexible because there's more to control and maintain while standing or crawling. (I guess that makes sense, right?)
She gave us exercises to work on like rolling his hips around and holding him on my hip, but tilting them. OK so it doesn't make sense but I could show you!
So this is a HUGE relief to me. It means that I haven't been doing anything wrong. I know, I know...everyone says I wasn't BUT.... you know. I needed proof...it's how my brain works! One of the other people at this place (not a doctor or physical therapist) said that it could be because I wrap him in a burrito..haha....she totally didn't know what she was talking about cuz I ASKED!! :p So there!!
So now I am walking a little taller now, knowing that I haven't totally ruined my child!

Reunion-Anniversary party

These are some of the pictures from our trip. I'll try to post more later..I'm still working on laundry and you know, stuff!! So here they are!!
This is my step-daughter, Veronica. Isn't she gorgeous?! This is Grandpa Waggoner, walking out of the house! It was so good to see him again.

Give you a quarter if you tell me which one is Bee.
These are the one-year olds of the Waggoner family. There's a Clayton, Max, Bee and Spencer. All born one week after another. Bee being the oldest, Clayton the youngest. It was so fun to have them all together. I hope they get to see each other a lot growing up...or maybe not. I don't know if I'm ready to have four 2-year olds running around!!!!!!!
Bee and Veronica, siblings...couldn't tell could ya?
So these are all at the Reunion-Grandma and Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary party at Kayak Point, Washington. I'm going to get the other pictures up soon. I have lots on the other computer. I just love these ones though.
So all the brothers played football in the park...we ate BBQ chicken dutch oven style, all kinds of salads and of course, cake! (IT was wonderful!!)...played on the beach with the baby crabs...sat around and chatted. It was a wonderful time!

Memories (Third post today so read them all!)

Here's a little "tag" going around...and I have had a lot of fun participating on others' blogs--so I decided to do it myself too!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Giveaway!

Alright ladies! I'm so excited about this. Go check out this chicas website. She is having a giveaway that you don't wanna miss! You will fall in love..guar-n-teed!!

PS anybody wanna come over and clean my house while I sit and read my book? (OK just checking)

Friday Feast...a day late

Appetizer
When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?
I got my hair cut two weeks ago, but before that it was Christmas!
Soup
Name one thing you miss about being a child.
No bills, if we didnt have bills then I wouldn't mind being a grown-up!
Salad
Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil.
Butter or margarine..I don't care which...it's more what is at Costco at the time.
Main Course
If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?
I would pick to learn Spanish. I took it in high school but never really got into it. I would pick Spanish because there is soo many uses for it in our culture today. For one reason, you could push 2 when calling the electirc company and know what it's saying!!
Dessert
Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…
In another state, but about ready to move again with hopefully another couple munchkins. I want to be able to say that I have kept most of my friends up here. To have a better relationship with my sister. And finally figured out how to make the perfect cinnamon rolls!

Book club

Escape

So I got this month's book for Book Club in the mail from Amazon. (First time Amazon buyer- I know, I'm slow!) My book cover looks different but the same book. I'm only about halfway through and my totally sickened by what goes on in these places. And even more grossed out that people think Mormon's are like this!!
It's about her escape from the polygamy sect in Colorado City...but they had the same 'prophet' as the sect in Texas. He's now in jail. Usually I'm a really fast reader, couple days and I'm done with a 400 page book. Not this one. It really is hitting some tough places. I really want to finish it so I can discuss it at book club but this one's gonna be hard, folks!
So as of right now, I have my finally load of laundry in the wash, Bee is asleep for his nap and I'm going to sit down and try and finish this book.

Tips

Tuesday's Summer Tips & Advice
My fellow friend/blogger has Tips on Tuesdays to keep those kids busy. Here's my contribution this week.

Mod-Podge plates

-old dishes (they can be the ugly ones you keep hiding or go to the local thrift store)
- Mod-Podge for the craft store
-some kids
-old magazines
-scissors
-newspaper
-clear top coat

K so now that you have the supplies...lay the newspaper on the table.
Cut out cool things in the magazine. I've done flowers but kids could spell their names out or whatever their little heart desires.
Lay the designs out on the plate (you can dab a little glue stick if they don't wanna stay in place)
Paint over with a big brush of the Mod-podge all over the papers..a good thick layer
Let it dry (read the label)
Go over it with the clear top coat so you can eat off it
And you're done and now have plates for some summer fun!

Now go check out Summer Tips & Advice here and play next week!!

I'm leaving on a jet plane..

We, the Waggoner family, are traveling to Seattle area next week for Chris' grandparents anniversary. They asked all of us to be there to celebrate. I'm really looking forward to it..especially with my new dress on the way.

But what I'm worried about is traveling on a plane with my one year old. So I'm going to ask if you guys have any suggestions! HELP!!

Our seats going down are all the way up front, on the way back..they're in the back. If that makes in difference!

So leave a comment and help a fellow mom cuz she's about ready to walk there!! :)

The past week..

Our campsite at Sutton. We went camping with Shawn and Natasha, Brittany and Josh, along with Ethan and Nova! What an adventure!Brittany, Josh and Moose!

Natasha and Bee with a sparkler. Ethan and Nova playing with sparklers too!
Moose, the cutest girl beagle in the world!! (Oh and Josh)

Bee enjoying the campfire...dirty little kid!
Our wheels minus three quads.
Red-Josh's Green-Chris' (Note there's no windshield...that's another story!)
Fireworks at midnight...Yes this is what 12am looks like on the Fourth of July...no need for a flashlight to use the restroom!!
Our resident goofballs, Chris and Shawn

Nova and Jack in the background at our spot in the woods.
Our monster of a tent...it has one more small tent on the other side..all connected!
Our front porch view...on Friday night that whole bank was full of tents, wheelers, ATV's, truck and pretty much anything that could move people around.
If you look where the smoke is, there's a rope swing just to the left where we went swimming every day! Even Chris and Jack got in the water!!Chris' trout that he caught in a near by lake...notice the dirty face. It was a staple in our camp!
The video is Chris crossing the river, using Josh's wench line to 'make sure' it would get across! They ran out of line, that's what happens at the end. Josh ended up getting pulled into the river!

Wednesday

Bee L O V E S his new Car's toy! It makes noises and sings! (And it's building those leg muscles to walk...gotta love that!)His Pacifier 'blowing' in the wind!
This is a park downtown Anchorage...it's literally .5 mile from the busiest intersection in the city.
Our new park friends...so fun!
Tuesdays in the Park
My friend Missy invited Bee, Nova, Ethan and I to the park with her friends on this beautiful Tuesday! We made new friends. Ethan and Nova got to swim and caught fish. Bee got spoiled by ladies who need to spoil him. And I got to hang out with new people! Win-win for everyone! It really was great!
