I'm grateful for sleeping boys...

This is Bee sleeping at Maimom's house. He can't go to sleep with B (the blue thing) and Moose as his pillow. I heart this kid.

Pheonix airport

This was my perfectly planned nap for Glo bug, gone wrong. We got to Phoenix from Seattle 15 minutes late. Our flight left 15 minutes early to get ahead of a storm and someone read the manifest wrong and didn't realize we had a connecting flight on that plane.
So we missed the plane. Totally sucked. I had naps planned so they were sleep on this flight, then we would see daddy and go out to dinner and then home!
Instead we had to wait 5 hours at the airport. Ugh.

Lo and ompa

This is my Dad at his house. And Glo bug on his lap. He liked Ompa's lap. I think Ompa kinda liked it too! The cats were upset they had to share. Oh well, it was just for the weekend.

I'm grateful for being able to express...

I'm grateful for being able to express my creativity through sewing.

I made washcloths and a oven mitt today. I know it's not amazing but I really enjoyed being able to have the knowledge and creativity to be able to make something I'm proud of. Here's just one.

Where are we again?

I'm grateful that we have water and electricity. Our heater was too cold to work. Kinda ironic huh?

My smart husband found us a heater in our kitchen in the form of an open oven!!

The weather here is crazy. It is flashbacks of Alaska with -20 temps.

Forget running. The boys and I still have colds from Seattle, which wasn't helped by our heater quitting.

Laugh a lot

granny

Remember this??

Well here is the story!

We are in a little town in Utah. (The town will remain unnamed because it might be someone's Grandma)

All of a sudden, traffic drops to 5 MPH.

On a highway.

I'm thinking there must be a horrible accident ahead or something of the sort. No road construction signs.

Finally after about 15 minutes of 5 MPH driving, I see the problem.

Granny, above, merged onto the highway with her electric wheelchair.

Yup.

Onto the highway!!!

Yes it's a 2 lane highway but people were slowing down. I took a picture!

How could I not??

And you know what Granny did?

Flew the bird!

I KNOW??!!!

And that is all.
