Random

I want to make this quilt. I have the fabric for it and everything.
Auntie Kassie's saying

Glo bug feeding his kitty. (That I got when I had my spleen out!)

Trunk or Treat with our ward building people. This is Melissa Harvigtson. They moved to Germany the week after this.

This is Megen's living thing. She designed it. I would love to do something like it but somehow all together. Jake said he HATES putting this up everytime they move because it has to be perfectly straight or you notice. I'm thinking maybe a wooden pallet?

This was Bee's first time playing outside with kids in the neighborhood. He does it all the time now but I think was about September, cause those trees are still up.

Glo bug has to wear an eye patch everyday. We call them stickers. While Bee wanted to wear one too! The rule is you can't take it off until Glo Bug does. He was a good trooper.

I thought this was interesting.

Playing at McDonald's with a few friends.

I saw this truck on my birthday in one of the dorm parking lots, while delievering cookies to the fire station on base. I really dig these rims and tires. I want them for my black truck! (Maybe when I win the lotto.)

Sunday

I had to take a picture of my boys. We can't see well but dragon and glo have a faux Mohawk. I did fix bees tie.

I made the boys pouches just for church. A notepad, couple crayons, plastic animals and one car.

They did a great job being quiet this week so I call these a success!! I will switch out things to keep it interesting. I hope I remember! :)

Glo bug picture post

These are a bunch of pictures of Glo bug, the past few months.

Glo bug is learning so many things the past few months. He learning knew words everyday, copying Bee in most everything. He even sings his version of the ABC's. He is becoming more and more daring. At the beginning of the year, he would keep me on a short leash, always knowing and seeing me. Now he runs off and joins whatever is going on and I have to keep eyes on Bee and Glo bug!! He enjoys his time with me these days, that Bee goes to school and Dragon takes a nap most mornings. He is learning to go potty in the toilet! Wahoo!! He hates going potty on Thomas underwears, so that's the game plan. Auntie Kassie sent Thomas underwears, BIG hit! As you can see from some of the pics, he still naps his afternoon nap. The one pic with boots and no pants, that's how he thought he was leaving the house... Not so much!

The last wrestling one is with Aunt Megen. My girlfriend here, Megen, plays with the boys on the ground all the time. Glo bug started calling her Aunt Megen, I'm assuming because we have an Aunt Megan in Seattle and he thought all Megan's are Aunts. Anyway it stuck and she will always be Aunt Megen. Even other kids from church call her that now!! Way to go Glo bug!!

Glo Bug's Thomas

While on my quilt shop hop in Seattle, I bought Thomas for a little boy that kinda loves him.

Once someone found it, I was pretty much made to make him a blanket, and fast!!

My supervisor

The brown matches the carpet nicely!
Quilted it with some stippling to get it done fast.
Someone approves.

That's the best part of making quilts, watching someone love it. I've already washed it no less than 20 times since I made this in August. Glo bug loves it!!

Airshow

We went to the Arlington fly-in with Heather and Drew. I also picked up Diana because Leah had just broken her arm the week before, and Diana didn't get to get out much.
We looked at all the booths. Played on the toys until the day camps showed up. We decided to go to McDonald's for ice cream because it was pretty warm that day and Pheobe was way hot. Then we went back for the air show. The boys liked it but to be honest, when you get an air show of F22's in your backyard everyday, little airplanes doing circles isn't as exciting as it once was!
But it was wonderful to see Pheobe and let all the cousins play.
