I heard an old wives' tale about shampooing your carpet with vinegar, to get pet urine smell out of carpet. So with our new puppy potty trained....guess what I'm doing today?! I'm shampooing my carpet with vinegar! So wish me luck...I'll let you know how it goes later!

I would think the vinegar would linger. But if it works, why not?!?
