9.11
September 11 is the reason for so many things in my life.
It's the reason why:
*I'm not married to my high school boyfriend.
*I'm a military wife.
*I'm so proud of my husband.
*two of our best friends are being sent to Iraq in February.
*I cry every time I hear the Star Spangled banner.
*the new Carrie Underwood song "Just a dream" touches ALL my heart strings.
*I get so mad when people don't stand or take their hats off for the flag.
*I get so angry at people that don't respect the military.
There are so many more things that this ONE day/event affected my life. And other's too.
I'm so very grateful for the country that I live in. I'm so grateful to all the soldiers over there and going over there now. For the ones that have been, thanks.
I know it's not easy being away from your families. Just know that we love you, pray for you and are so grateful for what you do.
Thank you for your service. We love you!

I could not agree with you more on those!
Can I just say, good move on your part? Can you imagine what your life would be if y'all had gotten married? EWWW! Scary!
What a nice post. And thank you for thinking of us. You definitely can relate and know exactly what every army wife goes through. we all can. im not sure what its gonna be like in February for me. i just wish that you could stay here!
The target was on American soil, and the many American heroes lost and hurt that day will always be remembered, but it is not just an American story. It was an attack on the World. It was a day that impacted so many people in so many countries, left many nations changed and we will none of us ever be the same. America is not alone. We all cry with you.... For 9/11, for 7/7 and for our soldiers now, as well... whatever the shape of their red, white and blue.
Hugs,
Chris xx
