Day 20

This is SheRocks. She is my Dad's dog now. She is the second greatest dog, in my book. We got her when she was a puppy. With a new puppy comes all the toys, balls and treats.

She wanted nothing to do with them.

She wanted rocks. We could throw them for hours, and did, and she would get the one you threw.

We even took her to a river a few times. We would throw a rock in and she would bring up the SAME rock. I don't know how she did that under water. She's crazy about rocks.

SheDaisy was popular when we got her, hence the name SheRocks. Cute huh? Forest came up with it.

Anyway she is now living happily at my Dad's house on acreage with a cat to chase. Life is good.

Wow,we had a german shepard named "Blue". He loved rocks, my dad would take him down to this river where he would throw rocks for Blue to chase. I have never seen or heard of another doy like him. He also had a favorite rock at home that he liked to lay with. Cool Dog!

I saw a Dog Whisperer episode on this rock obsession. That is too wild.

It's like when you buy awesome Christmas presents for little kids and they just like the box.

PS-love that you made close to a million comments in Crash's comment box last night:)

Ha! My sister's rotweiler does the exact same thing. They have a creek out back and they're constantly throwing rocks into it for her. She's the dirtiest dog in the world.

And yay for Direct TV!

We used to have a lab mix that did the same thing. I thought we were the only people that had a dog like that. Now I see that we aren't!!

Love her name!

We once had a French Poodle beleive it or not who did the same thing. We had moved into a new house with a new yard full of small rocks. Happy would follow the lawn mower and when my husband would throw a rock out of the yard, Happy would go find it and come back with it. He also would dive into the creek when we were camping and get a small rock when we threw it. He was a very fabulous dog, as yours is. Your post brings back sweet memories of our Happy.
