It is such a relief to know where we are going! Just to have a plan.

Must be great to know...finally! My brother and his wife love it in a suburb of Albuquerque...they're in China right now but are definitely going back to New Mexico when they return!

Kritta we will be next door neighbors! Where exactly in NM is this base? What city is it near? I am so glad you are happy!

New Mexico is a wonderful place! And the base is right next to White Sands National Monument, which is gorgeous. And fairly near Carlsbad Caverns, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and positively an awe-inspiring natural treasure. You'll have so much to explore!

I'm so happy for you! The best part - you still get the beautiful summer in Alaska and then leave just as it's getting cold - perfect timing!

ps - Loved reading all your comments in Crash's comment box - you are the best box stuffer ever!

WOw from one extreme to the next how exciting. Enjoy the sun. As far as house buying goes check with the family support office on base they should be able to give you the school infor for the areas along with areas to avoid.

That is a nice area, I've drove past it a few times.

Though I'm not ready to sweat yet I'm glad you are. I'm sure it'll be a fun adventure. I just like to change things up. We still have lots of AK exploring to do. Mike really liked Japan when he went so maybe we'll aim for there next, if I'm lucky. We will miss you though. It'll be weird to not have Krista in AK. I remember when I first met you. You were so laid back and helped my dirty little boys. Thanks for being my friend. Glad you have a blog for me to follow what's going on with you.
