Snow

This is what my backyard looks like today. Yesterday there wasn't a spot of snow in the whole yard. It was 55* yesterday and gorgeous! Today I am grumpy, mad and just plain upset that it has snowed again! It is the end of April for goodness sakes!! It has snowed about a foot in 7 hours and is still snowing. It is not planning to stop anytime soon, says the weatherman. I have grown a new feeling for the weatherman and it isn't nice.
Speaking of weathermen...how cool would that be to be a weatherman?! You get to look at pictures of the sky, clouds, thunderstorms, hurricanes and everything else...and then take a guess on what the weather is going to be like for that day. There is suppose to be more to it but I highly doubt there is. Half the time they are wrong. But it would be great to get paid like 50,000 a year to guess. I mean I do it everyday anyway so why not get paid for it. I think I just decided my new career after I'm done being a mom. (I'm pretty sure you don't ever stop being a mom so...yeah!)
This day would be perfect to curl up next to the fireplace with a warm fire, cozy blanket and a book to read. The problem with that is it's April and don't have anymore wood to burn. I was planning on walking to the library with Bee in the beautiful weather to get books to read this weekend and my favorite blanket is in the wash!! (Wow I'm a total complainer today!! SOrRy but it's snowing. You'd be grumpy too!)
Well hopefully this is the last snowfall of the year. I'm thinking one more winter, one more winter, one more winter. I think I deserve Florida or Hawaii. I don't have any idea how people live up here for good. I have a whole new respect for you guys, really.
Well I'm off to go find a good book to read tonight. I hope you have a great evening!

I know, I shed tears also about the snow. We had planned a trip to Seward for the last five weeks and each week it got postponed. Can you believe I couldn't talk Jeff in to driving down in 22 inches of snow? So instead we spent a huge amount of money to compensate by going to see Horton Hears A Who, although it was HILLARIOUS! But yeah, super-de-dooper for you to join bloggville!
