Lizzy
I haven't figured out the pictures. But anyway this one showed up so I'll use it!
This is our newest addition. I have been wanting a kitty. Chris had me searching craigslist last Friday for his new hobby, wood design or something. Anyway free was a frequent section I visited on local lists. Kittens are on said pages...so I called a few.
Chris and I had a babysitter set up for Friday night...but no plans. I thought we would do dinner and a movie. Instead we went to cruces, had dinner, got a new iPad (ours took a bath, but was still under our contract) and got a kitten!!!!
Lizzy is her name. She's a cuddler and helper of fabric! My dad suggested to call her queenie because she wasn't home ten minutes and she already thumped Diesel, our 90lbs black lab, on the nose. She is gonna rule this house. Which is exactly what we wanted. I didn't like Queenie, or Rocky...another suggestion. So I thought of the only queen I know, queen Elizabeth. Hence lizzy.
So here's to having another girl in this house!!

The beginning of my quilt
I started sewing again after a huge break. I decided that I wanted to start with something for myself.
So after a day or few of finding a simple but fun pattern, I picked this one.
I don't know why that is so big but it won't be small so it's staying.
I used my very favorite line, Blush by basicgrey. It was hard to cut into.
Where the white is, I used ash and put my name and designed a bird that echoes the one in the fabrics.
I'm trying my hardest to get pictures here. I'll share when I do.

Seattle trip
We went to Seattle for V's 6th birthday. We left June 24th and were home July 8th.
We took the ranger to my dad's house so he can use it. It had sat in our trailer for the past two years only taken out to get to something else in the trailer. Hopefully dad will love it.
We celebrated V's birthday Monday with her by taking her to Dairy Queen. Then we got her from 11 am to 5pm Wednesday. Picked her up at 11am Thursday and she spent the night with us at the W's house. We all slept in the trailer. We had a party Friday for Clayton, Bee and V at the W's. We had burgers and all kinds of food. And then Costco cupcakes!!! It was a short party cause ms. V had to be back at 6pm.
We stayed at my dad's house and it was wonderful!!! Seriously so relaxing to just let Bee run for the most part. The stressful part was the dogs. They would run off like once a day. If I had my way, I would have had shock collars on both of them. But we only had one collar. We never made it up to mt. Vernon to get the collar. Or down to cabela's. Oh well. Next time we go, we will have 2 collars!
Diesel got into a fight with dad's neighbor dog. It was his fault. He went on their turf. He got holes in his right front leg, back left and around his collar. We took him to the vet when we got back and they just gave him antibiotics. $100 later. Ugh. Then we came home and Diesel bit the heck out of Hooch. Chris had to sew up his eyebrow with thread and needle. I just couldn't push the needle those his tough skin. It made me gag big time. So now they are both on antibiotic...Diesel's from the vet. Hooch's is fish mox. Same thing, different name and only 12 bucks.
We celebrated Bee's birthday with my Dad's birthday on the fourth by having a huge BBQ. It was so much fun. There was 12 dogs, 8 kids and lots of adults, eating lots of great food. None of the dogs fought, most of the kids behaved and all the big kids had a great time. Aimee and Nicci came up! I so wish I could bring them home with me. I miss them greatly. Aimee and I got to hang out one other night. Went to red robin and tried to get our nails done but I was too late in leaving the W's house so all the nail places were closed by the time red robin was done. I also went to her ultrasound appt on the 5th!! I got to see her little peanut!!! So fun!! Aimee and Megan are due around the same time. 2 new babies in January!
We went and saw cars 2 with rich and Fireant and Christine and dad. Glo bug went too but Chris ended up taking him out about halfway through. I hoped he would take a nap but no such luck. We hung out at dads house and played with the ranger and blew off fireworks and had s'mores and just took it easy.
There was some drama while we were there but it was only from one place. It made me realize that vacations are just that, vacations. A time to relax. So next time, I'm going to try and take Chris' advice and not plan a single thing. Just decide what to do that day. I'm not too sure Marysville is the place to do that. Maybe we need a real vacation to California or Vegas to play that way.
Well those are the highlights. I don't have a single picture of anything because I had to switch phones. I'll try and find some via Facebook.

I'm 24 weeks along now.
My body is actually MAKING platelets at 102. Up from 66.
We just got back from Seattle. Had a great time with the people we saw.
I actually sat down and sewed today!!
Chris is gearing up for his elk and deer hunts.
Glo bug is almost walking.
Bee is full of energy and is moving into the big room this week.
That's it for now.

Logan eye
This is lo bug after his surgery.
He had eye surgery on tuesday in abq. They went in to move his eye muscle and found he only has four!! No wonder the other surgery didn't work. The eye muscles kinda of lean or use the other muscles to balance each other out. When Logan had surgery before they moved his lower eye muscles to push against the top ones. Well he doesnt have one of the top muscles so thats why his eye still looked off.
But now his eyes are straight and following each other. We have a follow up this week in abq to see if he will need more surgeries but we are hoping not. Until they fix his brow.
Mom notes: they gave him anti anxiety meds to go away from me plus sedation. He was terribly tired and cried for 3 whole hours after we got home.

Update
So I haven't blogged about it yet but I'm el prego again!!!
This baby is definitely a surprise. It took us years and years to get pregnant with both Connor and Logan. And so I stopped taking my birth control to get an IUD in. I had a doctor's appt Tuesday to talk about different forms of IUD's. I took a pregnancy test the Friday before and it was POSITIVE!!
We are excited about this munchkin! We weren't planning on having another one because my pregnancies are so hard. But Heavenly Father had other ideas. I've always wanted 5 kids. But I was okay with 2 because I had such great boys and worked hard to get them here. Now we will have 3!!!!
So this pregnancy has been drama like my other ones. The end of April I couldn't keep anything down, including water, for 3 days so I went to the ER to get some fluids. It lasted a day and I went back on Saturday night. They drew my blood and my platelets were 33K. DRAMA! The other drama was I was 14 weeks pregnant. So when they called the OB doc, he said, "I don't do low platelets. Send her to ABQ." When they called the blood doc, he said, "I don't do pregnancy, send her to ABQ." So I was Med-A-Vac'd out of Alamogordo, up to ABQ. There I got an infusion of IGG. Chris drove up with the boys and I ended up staying 2 days in the hospital.
Now I have doctor's here in Alamogordo that will take my care and have had another infusion May 26th. I had to spend all day on the phone with Tricare to get my infusion improved but it's worth the blessings. They drew my blood before the infusion and my platelets were below 12K. The lab machine doesn't read below 12K so that's all we know. That's a scary low.
So I have to get my blood drawn every week. Infusions, probably, every 3 weeks until this baby is done cooking. I'm hoping to be able to grow this baby until his term.... 36 weeks. Some of the docs have other ideas but I'm pretty sure mommy rules in these cases.
Okay so I plan on blogging a lot more so come back for updates!
