Sick

We all got sick around Dragon's birthday. This was how we all felt for a few days. We are better now but you forget how much sickness can kick your trash!! :)

Stab wound

I may or may not have gotten stabbed while making dinner on Dragonfly's birthday.

I was cutting up carrots for dinner and put the knife down on the counter. Globug grabbed it but I told him to put it back. No drama.
Of course Dragonfly had to do it too because Globug did. I went to grab it from him and he pointed it at me because he knew he wasn't suppose to have it and I got stabbed. To the bone. It doesn't look so bad but it bled quite a bit. But with my blood stuff, that is to be expected.

Anyway a butterfly bandaid and we were good to go. Thanks to Betsy for coming over and helping me with the bandaid!!

Mrsa

Back in October/November 2012, when I was dealing with my blood stuff while Chris was gone, I noticed this on Dragon's leg one day. It was a Friday so we had to go to the Walk-In clinic in Alamogordo. They thought it was MRSA so heavy doses on antibiotics.

They think it was MRSA because when I had my IVIG in November, Glo bug, Dragon and Bee waited 6 hours in the waiting room for me to get done.

He looks like a hurting unit, huh? I wonder how long that heated bump was there because he acted like this the whole time!

Sunday

I had to take a picture of my boys. We can't see well but dragon and glo have a faux Mohawk. I did fix bees tie. 

I made the boys pouches just for church. A notepad, couple crayons, plastic animals and one car. 

They did a great job being quiet this week so I call these a success!! I will switch out things to keep it interesting. I hope I remember! :)

Monkey

 

Yup I have a monkey in my house.

 

Of course I was standing right now and the burn was off. I have since put a towel between the drawer and oven door so he can no longer do this!!

Dragonfly turned one!

I'm late posting but here we go!

Dragonfly turned one in September! We made him cupcakes, the boys and I. As you can tell, he is a fan!! He had two before I had to cut him off.

These are dragonfly from August to November.

The couple in the hospital are for his allergic reaction to amoxicillin. The one laying on me was almost during his reactions/fever week.
The mustache ones are Halloween! He was a biker dude.
The one crying, auntie kassie about punched me through the phone for sending that to her. I think she cried. He was fine two seconds after I could the picture.
The last one is his first birthday!

Airshow

We went to the Arlington fly-in with Heather and Drew. I also picked up Diana because Leah had just broken her arm the week before, and Diana didn't get to get out much.
We looked at all the booths. Played on the toys until the day camps showed up. We decided to go to McDonald's for ice cream because it was pretty warm that day and Pheobe was way hot. Then we went back for the air show. The boys liked it but to be honest, when you get an air show of F22's in your backyard everyday, little airplanes doing circles isn't as exciting as it once was!
But it was wonderful to see Pheobe and let all the cousins play.

Hostess the mostess

With Hostess going out of business, I ran to the store and picked up some doughnuts and hoho's and other Hostess things. I wanted to take pictures of the boys eating them before the legend completely died.
I heard there was a box of twinkies on eBay for $500.00!!!

UNM of ABQ

This is the University of New Mexico in ABQ. It's where Glo bug and Dragonfly were born. And where all of Glo bugs doctor appointments are. The NICU is on the top floor in the further right building. The labor and delivery is two floors below that. Glo bug's eye doctor is directly in the middle building and her surgery is the top floor with the canopy.
I just wanted to post pictures of the hospital we know so well!

5 months

Dragonfly trying to fly

We tried out our bouncer. He can last about 5 minutes before his head starts getting heavy. But he sure does love jumpy!!

I love those skinny feet! He has some thunder thighs though!!!

Boys

Good morning!

This is our morning wake up. After a cartoon, we get cereal and bottle for Dragon. Bee usually sits on the couch, the other side from me.

The only one in this house that wakes up happy is Chris. We do a lot of glaring in the mornings! :)
