So I'm stressing about Mr. Bee and his not wanting to crawl/walk yet. He is 10.5 months should be doing something more than just reaching for things. I am wondering now if it's because I still swaddle him or if I didn't give him enough tummy time. You know, all the mom worries. I look at other babies his age and they have been crawling for weeks, if not months. I try not to let it get to me and say "He'll do it on his own time."
On the other side of the coin, he is really smart. Like the other day, I gave him carrots, peas, corn, and green beans on his highchair tray. He ate all the green beans and peas first (green), then the carrots and then the corn. If he picked one up from the color he wasn't eating, he would put it down and get the right color. Craziness!!!! I know! And he can say the alphabet sounds, all of them if you do it first. The 'books' say that he is only suppose to be able to do the important ones...b,p,d,m,etc.
So maybe all his energy is going to make a good brain and he's not too worried about getting around anywhere cuz he's thinking too much. I really need to stop worrying!
Oh and we had a meeting with the stake president to sign our temple recommends and Bee was smiling at him. The stake President said to him "I bet you are soo excited to get sealed to these people. I'm sure you remember what it's like over there, beyond the veil." I just smiled but thought about it later. Our little people are so wonderful to us. It's no wonder that I just sit and look/watch Bee and wonder what he is trying to say. They have to remember. What a wonderful blessing that we have to know that. I'm just amazed by our little man. (And that is why I need to stop worrying, huh!?!)
Well you Cherrios I'm off to play outside because it's beautiful again today..meaning no snow! :)

An unusual day
It was an unusual day at the Waggoner house. I, the mom, got to take a nap! I know, I know. It may be the start of the end of the world as we know it!!
A little background information: we have a new puppy, Jack....pictures to follow. We got the puppy about a month ago. I had forgotten that puppies potty in the middle of the night. (Well kids do too but diapers have fixed that midnight issue.) I have thought of putting diapers on Jack :) As my husband sleeps deeply, I have been the dog-let'er outter in the middle of the night. So my reward to myself was a two hour nap this afternoon. It was glorious!! I think what the best part of it was that I wasn't waking up for a reason like Bee crying or the boys making noise or to make lunch for my husband...just gradually waking up!
So after my nap Ethan, Nova and I went to the Muldoon library. It's get to have a library right down the road and I can't wait to walk to it. That was my original plan for today but see below blog for the reason for the change. SO I got the book for the book club and a movie for the boys. The library on base is good but there's just something different about a public library...the smells and different kinds of books there. Is it just me?
OH and I also made homemade waffles this morning. The kind my mom made when we were younger. It's crazy how different foods bring back memories. Anyway I was excited to use a new beater on my KitchenAid to beat the egg whites. It's amazing how much faster it goes when you use electricity.
So to sum it up: I took a nap, made waffles and went to the library! It's a good day!!
PS Lindsay just called and said that we are having church at the old building at 9am because they can't plow our church parking lot. It's brand new and will void the warranty! This is Alaska..did they forget? And isn't that why we have boy scouts away??!!

Snow
This is what my backyard looks like today. Yesterday there wasn't a spot of snow in the whole yard. It was 55* yesterday and gorgeous! Today I am grumpy, mad and just plain upset that it has snowed again! It is the end of April for goodness sakes!! It has snowed about a foot in 7 hours and is still snowing. It is not planning to stop anytime soon, says the weatherman. I have grown a new feeling for the weatherman and it isn't nice.
Speaking of weathermen...how cool would that be to be a weatherman?! You get to look at pictures of the sky, clouds, thunderstorms, hurricanes and everything else...and then take a guess on what the weather is going to be like for that day. There is suppose to be more to it but I highly doubt there is. Half the time they are wrong. But it would be great to get paid like 50,000 a year to guess. I mean I do it everyday anyway so why not get paid for it. I think I just decided my new career after I'm done being a mom. (I'm pretty sure you don't ever stop being a mom so...yeah!)
This day would be perfect to curl up next to the fireplace with a warm fire, cozy blanket and a book to read. The problem with that is it's April and don't have anymore wood to burn. I was planning on walking to the library with Bee in the beautiful weather to get books to read this weekend and my favorite blanket is in the wash!! (Wow I'm a total complainer today!! SOrRy but it's snowing. You'd be grumpy too!)
Well hopefully this is the last snowfall of the year. I'm thinking one more winter, one more winter, one more winter. I think I deserve Florida or Hawaii. I don't have any idea how people live up here for good. I have a whole new respect for you guys, really.
Well I'm off to go find a good book to read tonight. I hope you have a great evening!

My first..
Hello my friends~
This is my new blogspot. I was told I had to get one because it's so much fun by some ladies in my book club. We'll see if I take their advice on anything besides books here in a couple posts...hehe!
Well I'm not too sure what everybody writes on here but I'm sure this will get interesting. I am crazier than people think I am.
So I just dropped off Lindsay and Torsten from book club, driving home and I see a sad little sight. There, driving towards me was a VW Beetle that looked like it got jumped in a dark alley! It had a headlight swinging from it's wires and a hood that was bumped up just enough to make it look like it was wincing in pain. Now, this kind of car on any other day would make me smile because they are...well just cute. There's no other word to describe them. They look happy to be alive...this one did not. The poor thing was pitiful. I seriously hope this little car sees a doctor soon. (Not for the fact that it's illegal to drive without both headlights, but for my own little world where the Beetles are the happy cars that annoy the other ones with their cheeriness.) Well that's all for a little bit of my world...tune in later for other interesting points in Krista's life.
