Nicci's Quilt

This is what I've done working on while most people sleep! (My hubby is gone so what's the point to going to bed?)

Anyway...it's not done. I need to put the binding on. My mission for the weekend. I just wanted to share so you didn't think I was a total slacker. And to show Nicci her quilt in a big picture.
And a little Bee walking for the road!! Gotta love that kid!!

  8. I love this quilt. I made the one with 3 rows to each pie piece. It was fun. But towards the end I was ready to quit. Yours is very nice.

To answer your question about the dryer sheets - machine applique requires a stabilizer under the fabric under side. And sometimes you don't want the look of something underneath so if you use an old dryer sheet it provides the stabilization for applique and then you can just pull it away and it becomes invisible so there is no fabric or anything on the back side.

  11. What a fun quilt! Hey, how long's your husband gone? You should come over and play. I'm a lone woman as well. Took Sam to ER today cause he got a bead stuck in his nose at pre-school. Was lovely. You are a wonderful quilter. I need to learn. I always say I'm going to do it and never do.

Thanks for stopping by Momshots. I'm so happy that you came by and left a comment. Sorry you didn't win this time, but I don't think it will be the last time we do something like this.
