    I LOVE the idea of stitching special words into your Dad's quilt. I'll be using that one someday!

    My favorite holiday is one that is not as widely celebrated, but my family has always had a big part for May Day, and that was my favorite, espcially as a kid.

    OK thats touph I like them all I think the fourth of July though.... summer so its warm and we picnic..play horseshoes..visit with friends and light fireworks at night! Homemade ice cream!

    Christmas used to be my favorite but the 4th of July is quickly moving to the top...why? well its the weather. I hate the cold! So I prefer the lovely cookout in the heat! Family gathers for that too so it is lovely.

    I love the fourth of July. That is the day my wonderful son made his way into my life and blessed me into Mom hood. Many happy memories of that holiday as he has grown up.

    Yay for kits! I find I learn alot with kits and they allow you to put all your effort into the finished product.
    I really enjoy the 4th of July. I think it's the mixture of the awesome warm weather and the refreshing food. Oh yeah, and the fireworks!

    This is going to sound conceited but my favorite holiday is my birthday. As a SAHM I don't take time out for myself and that is a day that is special. Of major holidays my favorite is Thanksgiving. It really gives us a chance to pause and give thanks for everything that we have been blessed with.
